National
Commission for Energy Control and Prices (NCC) implementing the European Union
Network Code (European Commission Regulation (EU) No 2016/631) confirmed the
parameters by which LITGRID AB and AB "Energijos skirstymo
operatorius" will connect new power-generating modules to the electricity
grid.
According
to the network code, all market players must be ensured fair conditions of
competition in the internal electricity market, system security, the
integration of renewable electricity sources. Also the measures to facilitate
Union-wide trade in electricity must be provided.
