National Energy Regulatory Council (hereafter – the
Council), for the purpose of clarifying the procedures for the auctioning of promotion
quotas, submits for public consultation amendments to the auctioning provisions for the allocation of quotas to
promote the production of electricity from renewable energy sources.
The following substantive changes are proposed:
• in case the price premium requested by the
participants during the first stage of the Auction is 0 Eur / MWh and the promotion quota is insufficient and /
or the connection of the power plants is restricted, the participant with the
highest annual production volume shall be recognized as the potential winner.
If the annual production is equal but the promotion quota is insufficient and /
or the connection of the power stations is limited, the promotion quota shall
be divided among these participants in proportion to their annual production quantity;
• in order to ensure a uniform understanding of the Auction rules on the
price premium, the Council has prepared
a bid supplement form;
• participants will be able to submit revised bids for
the second phase of the Auction within 5 business days (currently 5 calendar
days).
