On 8th November 2019 National Energy Regulatory Council (NERC) approved LITGRID
AB together with Swedish and Polish transmission system operators (TSOs) and
designated electricity market operators (NEMOs) proposal on the costs
distribution for Local Implementation Project – LIP 16.
The total costs, which
will ensure development of technical capabilities to join the XBID market in
the second half of 2019, will be distributed to all 6 parties involved in
this project: Svenska kraftnät, LITGRID AB and Polskie Sieci
Elektroenergetyczne SA, NEMOs - EPEX Spot SE, EMCO AS and Towarowa Gielda
Energii SA.
As a reminder, on June
12 2018 the European Cross-Border Intraday (XBID) was launched, due
to that the LIP procedures and customized IT systems should be developed at the
regional level to ensure interoperability with the XBID system.
