The Baltic Energy Market Forum, organized by the National Energy Regulatory Council (NERC), will take place in Vilnius on November 3–4.
The traditional forum will bring together representatives of energy sector companies, institutions, regulators, and market participants from the Baltic States, Poland, Sweden, and Finland. Participants will discuss key regional energy issues – from the integration of electricity and gas markets to the development of sustainable water supply and district heating.
The event will also be attended by representatives of the European Commission and the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).
“Cooperation between the institutions and companies of the Baltic energy sector is one of the essential steps toward ensuring a reliable, competitive, and sustainable energy system across the region. This forum is an excellent opportunity to share experience, discuss challenges, and jointly seek solutions that will ensure a secure energy future for our consumers," said VERT Chairman Renatas Pocius.
During the two-day event, topics such as energy integration, market synchronization, sustainability, and consumer protection will be examined, along with presentations of the latest regional projects and policy initiatives.
November 3 will focus on discussions of the electricity, water, and heating markets, while November 4 will be dedicated to gas market topics. The full forum program can be found HERE.
The Baltic Energy Forum is an annual event organized by one of the three Baltic energy regulators. The previous Baltic Energy Forum was held in Latvia in 2024.
